St Johns Union

Meet our Senior Pastor Philip May. Pastor Phil first visited St. John’s Union in May of 2021. A year later the Lord brought him to be with us as our Senior Pastor.  Phil is currently attending PennDel School of Ministry to complete his studies to be a fully ordained minister. Before preaching at St. John’s Union Church, he helped lead worship ministry at Glade Mennonite Church in Maryland, worked with longtime friend and minister Pastor Ron Kosor with HIS Food Ministry based out of Derry, PA, and has been leading an online eGroup with Elevation Church for over three years.  Phil has been married to his wife Charissa, since February of 2012. The couple shares one daughter, Ariana May. Charissa is our church’s Administrative Assistant. 

Cindy Watson is our Associate Pastor and church Secretary. Cindy was born and raised in St. John’s Union Church. Through the years, she has shared in a lot of the church’s ministries and outreaches. She was involved in the choir as a young teen and continues to enjoy praising God with worship. Cindy was also the area coordinator for several years with Operation Christmas Child through Samaritans Purse. She currently attends the PennDel School of Ministry as well to become an ordained minister. Cindy is married to her husband Jim, since August of 2011. Jim is our Church Treasurer.
